Another old piece going back to when I used colored pencils more frequently, and *gasp* even a tame experiment with watercolor. This was sold in the artshow at... Confurence 2000? Gloria seems to be caffeinated here.

Hey there! I've got the original to this. Bought it at AC99. I've always wondered, is there any story to this piece? At any rate, thanks for drawing it!

Oh wow! That's very cool that not only do you remember it but that you'd find my post about it in the first place. I tend to do these things and wonder if they just end up in a pile after enough time goes by. Glad to know it's still in good hands! Unfortunately there's no story behind it, -I do a whole lot of random character poses just for practice and fun and I really liked the way this one turned out and took the extra step to make it a full-on rendering. This is still one of my favorite drawings of her.

Glad to be able to let you know it's safe and sound. It really is a neat piece and I was glad to find it at Anthrocon, having been a fan of yours since late '97. Keep up the good work, I love it!

Btw, I believe you did a short feature in an anthro comic about that same time spoofing the McDonalds Monopoly games. Do you remember what that was in? I know I've got it somewhere but can't seem to place it.

Ah, that would be "Greasy Spoon Blues" which was in Furrlough issue #72. In more recent years I've also done a pair of stories which showed up in John Nunnemacher's Buffalo Wings annual books. I think they're pretty swift. More to come too!
